Our recycling service allows you to recycle various items you use daily, so long as their materials are reusable. You can entrust the following products to us:

Plastic containers: We can collect bottles, jugs, cups and containers.
Boxes: You can recycle cardboard, pizza, cereal, cracker, shoe and gift boxes, as well as refrigerated food and toiletry boxes.
Metal: Include food and beverage cans, aluminum foil and trays, empty aerosol cans and decorative and pie tins.
Paper: Recycle office and school papers, newspapers, magazines, mail and phonebooks.
Glass: We can recycle food and beverage bottles and jars.
Cartons and cardboard cans: Include juice boxes, cartons for soup, broth and wine cartons and snack cans for chips and nuts.

Please note that items such as plastic bags, fuel or propane tanks, cords, tanglers, sharp objects, needs, batteries, electronics and hazardous waste should not be placed in your recycling cart.

How often do you bill?

A: Billing is every 2 months.

What is the Extra Tip of Charge?

A: Having an overflowing cart to the point you cannot close the lid or having extra bags next to your cart can result in an Extra Tip Charge.

A: Residential Recycling is every other week.

Can I pay my bill over the phone?, Is there a fee to do so?

A: Yes, you may pay your bill over the phone with a Visa or Mastercard. No fee applies. Online Payments , Including Auto-Pay and eBilling, are available on our Online Portal.

What color carts are available?

A: Standard Carts are available in Red and Grey. Pink Carts are available for customers wanting to participate in our Hope Fund Program.

Are the Pink Carts Extra?

A: There is no extra cost in service, but there is a $30, tax-deductible donation yearly that goes to the Hope Fund in Cambridge, MN to financially support breast cancer patients. Click HERE to learn more.

RECYCLING & YARD WASTE.

We run 96-gallon container Recycling Carts. For more information on recycling, click HERE.

LePage & Sons also offers a 96-gallon yard waste container (same as the trash container but with a green lid) at a once per year fee. We will collect up to 10 extra bags of yard waste next to your yard waste can. Bags that exceed the extra bag limit are subject to a $5.00 pick-up charge per bag. (MUST be in compostable bags or reusable containers). This service will begin early April and run through late November of each year. Exact dates are subject to change depending on the weather.
